A very special treat tonight… Giesen "Clayvin – Single Vineyard Selection" Chardonnay. 2015 Marlborough NZ – Bright lemon-gold coloured with green highlights, oily viscosity / body. Intense nose of smoky oak, gun flint, brioche & stonefruit. Great weight on the palate with layers of grapefruit acidity, pineapple/peach flavours, buttery crème brulee & fine oak texture and warm long juicy finish. This is a very special Chardonnay made with love – Hand picked, whole bunch pressed, wild yeast ferment and aged on lees in 1,000 litre Fuder barrels for 11 months, 100% malo…. Everything a chardonnay needs, to be amazing! Outstanding! Stunning! 13.0% ABV RRP: $56.00 Find out more here – https://giesen.co.nz/wine/single-vineyard-clayvin-chardonnay/ #nzwine #chardonnay #fuderbarrels #organicwine #marlborough #clayvin #vineyards #giesenwines
