Bald Hills is co-owned by Blair and Estelle Hunt the home vineyards being situated on a delightful, sunny and sheltered 11 hectare site in prime Pinot Noir country – Bannockburn, Central Otago. The homestead is totally surrounded by both vineyards and gardens providing an enviable ambiance of privacy and security, enfolded by sheltering hills and trees. Bald Hills is a Certified Sustainable Vineyard with Viticulturist Grant Rolston managing the vineyard while wine-makers Grant Taylor and Chris Keys produce around 2,500 cases of wine annually.

The Bald Hills mission is to produce wines of exceptional depth, character and purity, a true expression of Bald Hills’ outstanding site in Bannockburn, Central Otago, New Zealand. It is not just Pinot Noir that is grown at Bald Hills. Pinot Gris, Riesling and a Pinot Rosé are all available and are sold both online and at the Tasting Room on site as well as at selected outlets. They supply private buyers, restaurants and fine wine outlets and export small amounts throughout the world, with a focus on Australia and Singapore.
