Clos Henri – Petit Clos Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Jean Marie Bourgeouis with the wines tasted

Clos Henri celebrate their 10th anniversary and Bastille day in July so we went along to celebrate with them. We were met by Jean Marie Bourgeouis and son Arnaud and along with many guests had a great tasting of Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blancs from both Marlborough and Sancere in France where the family home and original vineyard is located.

Opened the 2010 Petit Clos Sauvignon Blanc recently and at two years old this is drinking well, with aromatic hints of peas, passionfruit and gooseberry, a slight savoury nuttiness from lees stirring and a long, intense finish. 17/20
