Calling all New Zealand Wineries and Winemakers

Entries for the 2018 Australian and New Zealand Boutique Wine Show are open, with the Judging happening in Sydney around mid July.

Free shipping has been arranged from Auckland & Christchurch to Sydney – wineries just need to get their samples from their own cellar door to the central drop off points in these cities. Unfortunately, closing date for free freight out of New Zealand is 15th May.

The Boutique Wine Show has an established name across Australia & New Zealand (since 1996) – our results are consistent, are recognized & count!

Huon Hooke (Australia’s leading wine authority) has been the Chairman since inception, and continues in this role today.

The Judging panel includes Toni Patinson MW, Gary Baldwin & Peter Leske – all highly regarded Judges both Domestically and Internationally with many years under the belt judging at this wine show.

They are joined by several other experienced wine Judges from different sectors of the industry – consistency is the secret.
All wines are rigorously assessed through score-based evaluation.

They have expanded the judging classes to account for emerging varieties – Pinot Gris / Grigio & Italian Red Varietal classes have been added, and Red Blends have been split into Bordeaux Blends Class & Rhone Style /Other Red Blends Class.

Our show is Stewarded by leading Sommeliers from several of Sydney’s leading restaurants.

We have localized drop-off points in may regions across Australia & New Zealand for your convenience. You get your entries to these points, and we handle the rest into Sydney free of charge.

All medal results will be published in print and online shortly after our Awards presentation later in the year.

We have comprehensive distribution of results through our PR company to all media outlets in Australia & New Zealand.

There will be significant coverage through social media channels for all Trophy, Double Gold and Gold Medal Winners.
