Esk Valley Estate’s Hawkes Bay Rosé continues to impress wine judges across the nation, by picking up yet another gold medal at this year’s Royal Easter Show Wine Awards.

The Royal Easter Show Wine Awards is New Zealand’s longest running wine competition, this year marking its 62nd year since its establishment. Now legendary for his top performing, premium Rosé, its clear Esk Valley winemaker Gordon Russell is at the forefront of producing a hallmark New Zealand wine which ‘wows’ every time.

“Since 1991, we have loved making Rosé, producing a wine that has long been regarded as the benchmark New Zealand Rosé. Being awarded a Gold medal reinforces the quality of this beautiful wine.” Gordon Russell, Esk Valley Winemaker.

What is also a real standout achievement is every wine entered by Esk Valley received an award at the show.

This is the 62nd Royal Easter Show with 1,222 wines entered into this year’s competition. The Easter Show Wine Awards 2015 dinner, where the trophies are announced, will be held on the 14th of March.
