Dave Eckert is the producer and host of Culinary Travels with Dave Eckert, which airs on cable in the United States, and is also a weekly contributor to KC Chowtown, the food, wine, and spirits blog of the Kansas City Star newspaper which is read widely across the U.S.A.

Dave contacted me here at The New Zealand Wine Directory to see if I could assist in ‘spreading the word’ about his intentions to write a series of articles on New Zealand wine. This would include its history, wine-producing regions, many excellent wine makers, and its fantastic wines.
