Snapper Rock and Cherry Block wineries have signed an agreement with New Zealand Wine & Spirit Merchants Limited to distribute their fast-growing brands in the New Zealand market.
The agreement, effective from Monday 04 September 2017, will replace their existing sales and distribution facilities previously managed by Antipodean Sommelier.
New Zealand Wine & Spirit Merchants (NZWSM) is a newly launched, specialist distributor of local and international beverages to the licensed trade.
The business is headed by Garry Critchley and Phil Wakelin, both of whom have enjoyed long careers in the wine and beverage distribution sector.
Australasian Market Manager for Snapper Rock Wines, Tim Boyd-White commented, “I’m proud of our team for establishing a foothold in the tough New Zealand market, but we’re now looking forward to joining forces with an experienced national sales team to take things to the next level.
