Steve Bird Winery and Vineyards has tasted success and the Australia & New Zealand Boutique Wine Awards 2017.
The Association of Australian Boutique Winemakers manages the Australian and New Zealand Boutique Wine Show, giving a platform to small producers, those which crush and bottle 250 tons or less annually under their own label and are owned independently, i.e., not owned by a larger wine company.
Internationally respected wine judge and writer, Huon Hooke, is the founding Awards Chairman, a position he has held from 1996 until now.
The Steve Bird wines range made a clean-sweep at the awards with each wine entered taking a medal…
• Steve Bird ‘Big Barrel’ Marlborough Pinot Noir 2015 – GOLD Medal
• Steve Bird Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016 – SILVER Medal
• Steve Bird Gisborne Pinot Gris 2016 – BRONZE Medal
