Wine Jobs New Zealand is owned by James Cluer, MW. James achieved his Master of Wine in 2008 and is one of about 350 Masters of Wine in the world.
Throughout his career, James has been connecting people with the world of wine. Beginning with working in vineyards in Europe and Australia, James went on to become the export director for a major Bordeaux négociant and has international consultancy experience with airlines, luxury hotel groups, wineries, and retail chains.
From his offices in Napa and Vancouver, James owns and manages Fine Vintage (www.finevintageltd.com). Fine Vintage is North America’s largest provider of WSET courses with schools in 13 cities including Vancouver, New York City, and Florence (Tuscany). James also organises and hosts luxury wine tours to the world’s classic wine regions of Bordeaux, Champagne, Burgundy, Tuscany, and Spain.
James and Fine Vintage also manage a series of Wine Jobs websites. Wine Jobs New Zealand was created in 2013 as a service to the dynamic New Zealand wine industry. The purpose of the Wine Jobs New Zealand site is to connect employers with job seekers. It is a service that he feels is critical for the ever-growing global wine industry.
