About The New Zealand Wine Directory
Started as a hobby website as ‘NZ Wine Links’ back in 2002, The New Zealand Wine Directory has developed into a valuable online resource, containing over 4,000 links to everything about New Zealand Wine online.
Re-launched in 2009 as The New Zealand Wine Directory it is now a free digital resource, linking visitors to our wonderful NZ Wine industry & online wine communities; a curated collection of website links and information made easily accessible to wine consumers and industry folk.
A total revamp in 2019 saw a new responsive website design, making content now view-able on all digital devices, from computers to tablets to smart phones.
Visitors can Browse or Search the Directory and can connect with our Social Media networks too. We are actively involved in promoting and sharing New Zealand wine websites, links, news, wine reviews, products, events and more…
We are passionate about New Zealand Wine and provide connectivity to all NZ wine-related content we can find, or is submitted for inclusion in the directory.
The resource has grown not only in content & visitor traffic, but also in reaching out to wine lovers through our social media networks and NZ Wine Partnerships.
The New Zealand Wine Directory has been developed and funded mostly by owners John & Glenys Bartlett since launching in 2009.
To fund ongoing maintenance & future development we offer NZ Wine Partnership opportunities to New Zealand Wine businesses.
1,000’s of hours have been spent on Website Development, Search Engine Optimization, Security, Usability and developing our social media to provide the very best information resource for users.
On our blog we post a selection of news, views, tastings, events and other information about the New Zealand Wine Industry and online wine community.
John tries to attend every NZ wine event or tasting he can get to, to expand his wine knowledge-base and ‘palate experience.’ He reviews New Zealand wines & shares his notes on Facebook and Instagram.
For our Partners we promote NZ Wineries, vineyards and all wine related businesses and brands to our visitors, linking them directly to your business online.
