It is a ‘curated collection’ of website links and information about New Zealand Wine, made easily accessible to both wine consumers and the wine industry. It started as a hobby website called ‘NZ Wine Links’ back in 2002 but in 2009 was relaunched as The New Zealand Wine Directory.
Since then, JB has developed it into a hugely valuable online resource, containing thousands of links to everything about New Zealand Wine. It’s grown hugely in both content & visitor traffic, also reaching out to wine lovers through social media and ‘NZ Wine Partner’ advertising.
The new responsive website design, makes content view-able on all digital devices, from computers to tablets to smart phones. Visitors can Browse or Search the Directory and can follow on Social Media where I’m actively promoting and sharing New Zealand wine websites, links, news, wine reviews, products, events and more…
JB has spent 1,000’s of hours on Website Development, Search Engine Optimisation, Security, Usability and developing social media to provide the very best possible resource for users. News, reviews, wine tastings & events, are shared on the blog, plus Featured Winery of the Month, featured wine reviews and more… All about the New Zealand Wine Industry and Wine community.
JB tries to attend every NZ wine event or tasting he can get to, to expand his wine knowledge-base and ‘palate experience.’ He reviews New Zealand wines & shares his notes on Facebook and Instagram.
JB is passionate about New Zealand Wine and provides connectivity to all NZ wine-related content found, or is submitted for inclusion in the directory. To fund ongoing maintenance & future development we offer NZ Wine Partner opportunities to New Zealand Wine businesses.
