Jules van Costello and Asher Boote, co-owners of Hillside Kitchen & Cellar and The Ramen Shop are about to launch Cult Wine, a new premium wine retail concept in Thorndon, Wellington.
Prior to opening they launched a Pledge Me, crowd funding campaign to get foundation wine club members; this campaign was fully funded within two days and finishes at 6pm on Thursday the 25th of August.

The minds behind Cult Wine are Jules van Costello, sommelier and drinks writer, and Asher Boote, chef and restaurateur.
Together they have over 20 years’ experience in the restaurant and wine industry, having worked for a number of internationally acclaimed restaurants.
In early 2015 they founded Hillside Kitchen & Cellar and immediately saw a huge demand for the diverse selection of high quality wines Hillside offers.
After establishing our restaurant, we at Hillside Kitchen & Cellar have seen an astronomical demand for the kinds of wine we champion: wines with character, personality and integrity.
