Glenn Thomas took this opportunity in creating the https://tupari.co.nz/, and it paid off with a Platinum Award.
Platinum is awarded when all gold medal wines in a category are re-tasted and the best wine is chosen.
‘Boulder Rows’ is a barrique fermented Sauvignon Blanc produced by Tupari Wines.
Glenn was drawn to Marlborough’s Awatere Valley by the stunning flavours in the traditional Marlborough style of Sauvignon Blanc. 30 years on and he still loves the freshness and fruit in this wine… but, he wanted to show that our premier grape is more versatile than generally recognized.
Through barrel fermentation Glenn created a multi-layered wine, showing attractive secondary characters that retains the freshness and fruit of Sauvignon Blanc.
An exciting option for not only the passionate Savvie faithful, but also for those who might prefer a more complex and textural wine!

Decanter has recognized this beautiful wine with a Gold Medal. This wine was previously awarded the Botrytis Trophy at the International Wine Challenge 2015.
