No.1 Family Estate Release Vintage Cuvée Remy 2013

No.1 Family Estate are thrilled to announce the release of a very special vintage wine – the No.1 Family Estate’s Cuvée Remy 2013. Named as a proud tribute to their son, Cuvée Remy is crafted only in truly exceptional years.

The label features an adaptation of the Le Brun family crest, sketched by Remy himself. This vintage méthode is a collector’s edition that honours our family’s Champagne heritage. Each of their vintage cuvées, named for a member of the Le Brun family, reflects the character of its year. Refined, expressive and meticulously crafted, the range showcases the very best of their winemaking expertise and the traditional method that defines No.1 Family Estate.

Cuvée Remy 2013

Cuvée Remy was first released to celebrate Remy’s 21st birthday, and this 2013 release marks only the second edition. Its arrival is testament to the craft of méthode traditionelle, and to the dedication, patience and precision required to create wines of such depth, elegance and longevity.

The 2013 season in Marlborough is remembered as one of the region’s standout vintages: long, dry and sun-filled, with even ripening and beautifully bright natural acidity. Pristine fruit, low disease pressure and ideal harvest conditions allowed for base wines of exceptional purity. Concentrated flavour, moderate sugar levels and vibrant acidity combined to produce wines with finesse and structure, qualities that have rewarded this cuvée’s extended ageing on lees and in bottle.
