Rapaura Springs: New Zealand Wine Producer of The Year

Rapaura Springs Wines collected two prestigious Trophies at the International Wine and
Spirit Competition (IWSC) in London overnight. Both the New Zealand Wine Producer of the
Year and the Sauvignon Blanc Trophy were awarded to Rapaura Springs at a gala dinner
attended by Brendan Neylon, Company Owner and Wine Sales Director.

The Marlborough based, family-owned business collected a raft of medals and Brendan was thrilled with the result. “It’s a huge milestone in our on-going pursuit to produce world class,
top quality, wines. It’s incredibly satisfying to see the business go from strength to strength and to have my team’s hard work recognised by such an important, global, organisation.

We share this success with our grape growers, our distributors and, importantly, our loyal wine drinkers who obviously know a good thing! Receiving the Sauvignon Blanc Trophy was a huge thrill and now to be named New Zealand’s Producer of the Year, it caps off an amazing haul of recent awards and trophies. The IWSC was established in 1969 and is one of the world’s pre-eminent wine competitions,
held in high regard with consumers and wine trade alike. The formidable reputation of its
judging process, and judges themselves, set the standard for wine competitions globally.
