WinePro Launches “Fuel the Show” Initiative to Support Exhibitors

WinePro Launches “Fuel the Show” Initiative to Support Exhibitors Amid Rising Costs – Expertise Events introduces a practical support program to offset fuel and transport costs while strengthening exhibitor outcomes.

Like many across the industry, we at Expertise Events are closely monitoring the evolving fuel situation and the pressure it is placing on businesses throughout the sector. Recently, it came to our attention that a contractor approached several companies proposing the introduction of a new fuel surcharge.

Aside from raising potential legal and ethical concerns, it highlights a broader issue, decisions being driven by individual commercial interests rather than the long-term health of the industry.

At a time when all participants are facing increased costs, it is difficult to justify why one part of the supply chain should pass on additional charges. As organisers, we cannot simply increase pricing without risking further impact on participation and industry confidence. Our focus remains firmly on protecting and enhancing the value that WinePro delivers for all involved.

We recognise the very real impact rising costs are having on exhibitor participation. Like our exhibitors, we are navigating these pressures ourselves. Our shared success relies on working together to ensure face-to-face events continue to deliver meaningful commercial outcomes.
