Kirsten is joined by Wendy and James Healy who talk about their many years of winemaking etc. at Cloudy Bay and Dog Point, 2 of Marlborough’s well known wineries. A recent move to Nelson has seen the couple semi-retire and getting involved with the small label Abel, founded by their daughter and son-in-law and focusing on cider and Chardonnay, James’ favourite grape varietal.

Kirsten is joined by winemaker and wine consultant Lynnette Hudson, co-founder of the Waipara-Based Tongue in Groove brand. The first 20 years of her winemaking career she made wine at Waipara’s iconic Pegasus Bay winery and also did a number of vintages overseas. She is passionate about wine and especially Pinot Noir thus, she is known as the “Pinot Diva”.

Kirsten is joined by winemaker and “supertaster” CP Lin from Christchurch. Originally from Taiwan, he moved to New Zealand as a young teenager, and after studying math and engineering he turned to winemaking. For 16 years he worked for Waipara’s Mountford Winery and ensured their international fame. He’s well travelled, loves wine, Cuban cigars, coffee and cooking delicious food.

Kirsten is joined by Yvonne Lorkin from Hawke’s Bay. Yvonne is a well-known New Zealand wine writer and wine judge, and she is the co-founder and Chief Tasting Officer of WineFriend, a unique on line wine shop.
