JDV, Joy de Vivre Wines Summer Rosé 2020 Hawke’s Bay NZ
This Merlot predominant wine is medium pink in colour with copper hues, bright & clear. Aromas of ripe apples, stone-fruit, sweet berries and a whiff of spice in the nose. A vibrant berry-fruit flavoured palate with a grape-fruity citrus acidity – crisp, juicy, long concentrated finish. Gorgeous art on the bottle capturing the essence of summer, although we don’t have humming birds in NZ – Thoroughly recommend you try this – don’t over chill it – let the aromas & flavours escape! Dancing Water ‘Scheurebe / Malbec’ Rose 2020, Waipara NZ
The palest pink I’ve ever seen in a rosé – made from Scheurebe & Malbec grapes grown in Waipara, North Canterbury – a most unusual yet really interesting blend of grape varieties. The nose is very fragrant with herbal, salty, smokey, pear & spice notes. There’s a nice viscosity on the palate with sweet stone fruit & spice, a fresh acidity, gentle tannins, chalky textures with a dry, long finish. A very “Provencale style” rosé from right here in North Canterbury NZ. Excellent value too at RRP:$25.00

Redmetal Vineyards Cabernet Franc Rosé 2021, Hawke’s Bay NZ
Pretty salmon to watermelon pink coloured wine, nice legs! The nose is fresh and fragrant with red berry fruit aromas, a whiff of confection & a hint of mixed herbs. The palate has sweet red berry flavours at first some savoury notes but then a tight acidity / texture / tannins come through with nice dry grip. It’s textured & full flavoured with a good whack of alcohol & a long dry finish – summer rose to be enjoyed with a Mediterranean themed platter me thinks! Delish! RRP:$25.00
